About Great Northern Home Exteriors
A Niagara Exterior Renovation Company Since 2009
Great Northern Home Exteriors installs replacement windows, doors, siding and eavestrough for homeowners throughout Niagara. We focus on clear recommendations, proper installation and straightforward service from the first estimate through project completion.
Our Story
The People Behind GNHE
Great Northern Home Exteriors is owned and led by Clodette McNea, whose experience in the home-improvement industry began long before GNHE opened its doors in 2009.
Clodette began learning the business at a young age, including time spent around active job sites where she saw how much proper measuring, installation and communication matter to the finished result.
When Great Northern Home Exteriors was established, the approach was straightforward: give homeowners clear information, recommend products that make sense for their homes and pay attention to the installation details that affect how those products perform.
That same approach still guides the company today. GNHE works with homeowners on replacement windows, doors, siding and eavestrough, with an emphasis on practical recommendations and reliable follow-through.
How We Work
What Homeowners Can Expect From GNHE
Exterior renovations involve more than choosing a product. The estimate, measurements, preparation, installation and follow-up all affect how smoothly the project goes.
Clear Recommendations
We explain the available options, what each one changes and where spending more may or may not make sense for your home.
Written Estimates
Pricing and project details are discussed before work begins so you understand what is included in the job.
Accurate Measuring & Planning
Openings and exterior conditions are reviewed before products are ordered so the installation can be planned properly.
Careful Installation
Installation details such as preparation, sealing, flashing, insulation and finishing are handled according to the needs of the project.
Job-Site Cleanup
Debris and removed materials are cleaned up as part of the project, with attention paid to leaving the work area neat when the job is finished.
Follow-Up Support
If you have questions after the installation, GNHE remains available to help with workmanship or product-related concerns.
The goal is simple: give you enough information to make a good decision, then complete the work carefully and stand behind the installation.

Details That Affect Performance
Sealing, insulation, flashing and exterior finishing are handled as part of the installation.
